Impact's Finest Hour
30.10.08

Somerset based Impact Design & Marketing has helped the John Smith's Tadcaster Brewery mark its own 250th anniversary by successfully creating the brand 'Finest Hour', a limited edition fine ale specially brewed to commemorate 90 glorious years of the RAF - ten pence from every pint sold will be donated to the RAFA Wings Appeal.

Finest Hour

Impact Director Gary Bee, said: "We have been involved 'hands on' in the project from the very first discussions with the RAFA, conceptualising and designing the brand identity and associated imagery, right through to the print and fulfillment of the in-outlet point-of-sale kits. It's been an immensely enjoyable project to work on - the end result is a great example of client and consultancy working hand-in-hand to develop a truly memorable and emotive brand."

Launch events took place at RAF Linton-on-Ouse in the presence of World War II Spitfire and Mosquito pilots along with the heroes of more recent theatres in Afghanistan and Iraq, and at the launch of the RAFA Wings Appeal 2008 at RAF Coningsby, home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Impact celebrates its own 21st anniversary in 2008 - the agency is retained by and responsible for many design and marketing projects for international brewers Scottish & Newcastle, European motorcycle manufacturer Honda, the UK's number two energy provider Scottish & Southern Energy, Heinz Foodservice and wine distributors Constellation Europe.
